During my stint in the sciences as a Research Fellow and later as an Analyst, I analysed the root cause of product failures and conducted experiments to identify solutions. Here, I came to recognize my urge to connect directly with people and design for their specific needs. Seeking the intersection of design, technology and people, I spent a year at CIID learning how to craft interactions for people and leverage emerging technologies to address complex challenges.

At CIID, I worked on a wide variety of problems and design areas, ranging from designing a service to enable voluntary migrants to integrate into a new city, to making storytelling more playful for children using AR. My final thesis had a focus on UN Sustainable Development Goals, where I investigated how design can address the under-representation of women in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).
At Infosys, I have been teaching human-centred design methodologies to internal customers and clients and equipping them with skills to craft delightful digital experiences. Enabling them to transform from fresh graduates into client-ready designers, and going on to win accolades from their clients, has been one of the most rewarding experiences.
I’m at my best when I’m working with a diverse team, collaborating to understand the system’s view, using explorations and play in design approaches, and imagining the world of possibilities in an environment that fosters experimentation and innovation.

When I’m not designing, I create sketches in a sketchbook that I carry around wherever I go. I feel energized when I create art. I enjoy travelling to a location and capturing the essence of a place in my sketchbook. In 2021, I completed a 365-day challenge where I created one sketch every day of the year.
But enough about me, let’s hear more about you and your exciting project 🙂
